The Government has suspended the Chair of the Supervisory Board of JSC Sense Bank from performing his duties

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to suspend Chair of the Supervisory Board of JSC Sense Bank Mykola Hladyshenko from performing his duties for a period of six months.

The decision was adopted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Banks and Banking” and taking into account publicly available information released by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.

The suspension is intended to mitigate risks to the proper and effective functioning of the Supervisory Board of JSC Sense Bank, including risks related to the potential use of the bank for money laundering purposes and inadequate oversight of anti-money laundering procedures.

The Government has also initiated the suspension of Chair of the Management Board of JSC Sense Bank Oleksii Stupak.
