Parliament approved appointment of Sergii Marchenko as Minister of Finance of Ukraine in the new Government

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, upon the nomination of Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi, appointed Sergii Marchenko as Minister of Finance of Ukraine in the newly formed Cabinet of Ministers.

The priorities of the new Government include strengthening Ukraine’s macro-financial stability; financing the needs of the security and defence sector and all social obligations of the state; ensuring preparations for the next heating season; implementing structural reforms as part of Ukraine’s European integration; and continuing effective cooperation with key international partners to meet the financing needs of the State Budget.
