Ukraine received about $500 million from the IMF Under the Extended Fund Facility Program

Ukraine has received the ninth tranche of about USD 500 million (SDR 373.53 million) from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.

On June 30, the IMF Executive Board approved the eighth review of the EFF program.

“Additional IMF financing to address priority needs of Ukraine’s State Budget is the result of the successful completion of the program’s eighth review. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the State Budget has received a total of USD 13.3 billion in financial assistance from the IMF. Following this review, we continue to actively implement jointly agreed reforms aimed at ensuring macroeconomic stability, strengthening public governance, supporting recovery efforts, and ultimately advancing Ukraine’s European integration,” said Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko.
