The Ministry of Finance: 96% of Local Budgets have been Approved

As of January 18, 2021, 1,537 local budgets have been approved, which is 96% of the total (1,597). In particular, the approved budgets include:

- 22 budgets of regions and Kyiv city (Volyn and Chernihiv regions’ budgets have not been approved);

- 108 district budgets (11 district budgets have not been approved);

- 1,394 budgets of territorial communities (44 budgets have not been approved).

In order to ensure the full functioning of budgetary institutions and their continuous provision of services to consumers, local governments need to take measures to speed up the process of approving local budgets and submit information on their approval to the Ministry of Finance through the computer program "Information and analytical management system for planning and execution of local budgets" LOGICA "( IAS "LOGICA").
