State-Owned Banks received revenues of UAH 11.6 billion in Q2 2021, 7.6% more than in Q1 2021

State-owned banks received UAH 11.6 billion of revenues following the results of the second quarter of 2021, which is 7.6% more than the revenue made in the second quarter of the current year.

In the second quarter, the banks continued increasing volumes of lending. The loan portfolio of public sector banks increased by UAH 21.6 billion (by 9.2%) in comparison with 01.07.2021, from which UAH 16.7 billion - an increase of the loans granted to legal entities, UAH 4.9 billion - an increase of the loan portfolio of individuals.

82.9% of the total revenue (UAH 9.6 billion) is the revenue received by JSB "PrivatBank".

On October 29, 2021, within the framework of the implementation of the Strategy of reforming the state banking sector, according to article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "On Banks and Banking Activity" and to regulate the issues of interaction between the managing bodies, Framework agreements between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and state banks - JSB "Oschadbank", JSB "PrivatBank" and JSC "Ukreximbank" was concluded.
